The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Season 2 finally started!

This morning was the airing of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya episode 8 and yes it is the real reason 2 episode. There is no opening on this episode how ever they've got a new ending which I believe its not as good as the original ending. RAW are avaliable around the net and here's the new ending.

I was underwhelmed... all haruhi did was drag them around doing crappy summer vacation things... I woulda expected something bit more epic for a return of haruhi

Believe it or not but it's actually a two-part story. The next episode will tie the last one together and your head will explode! It's just the sorta crazy shit that KyoAni does.

The problem with animating the Haruhi series is that the novels go though a pattern of one long story then a bunch of short stories. And without the short stories, the whole linear story falls to pieces. Once you get to the Disappearance Episodes you'll realize that "Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody" (the first episode that everyone thought was average) had to be told for it to work.

Because I've read all the books (I am the resident Haruhiist after all) I'm just enjoying them coming to life. So I thought that last episode was adorable!

Lol I got nothing against a story repeating itself, so long as it has lots of maniacal laughing, a pair of cute lolis, torture and a blonde nurse that looks like she's stoned 8D

a well, ill probably keep an eye on what haruhi's up to but I wont be staying up to watch it live

They're doing AGAIN! How the hell can they do this a THIRD TIME. This should only be a ONE EPISODE STORY! Then I thought, ok two should work. Now we're on the THIRD epidoe and they STILL don't finish it! Havering a FOURTH episode on this just isn't funny anymore.

wow i must be psychic cause i predicted this crappy show would flop from the get go as soon as i watch the first season i finished it and said"what the #$%& was that?" its just bullshit how many fan's there are...

OMFG THATS FUKING WASTING MY TIME. When it have an ending I'll tell ppl just watch the start and the end. Those are just wasting time.

In the book they just cover the last loop (which is meant to be the 15,498th) but apparently in the Manga they do it four times.

Just read the story here and you'll get a better experience. I read it quicker than watching two of these stupid episodes.

Well at least it's finally over now. Have no idea what they're going to do for the 6 remaining episodes, plus they've got to complete showing all the old ones too.
